Favorite aspect of my career with KA Insurance: As a third-generation leader in the Kraus-Anderson family, I feel incredibly fortunate to build on the legacy my father and those before him created. What I value most is the innovative spirit of my colleagues, the trust of clients we’ve worked with for 40 years or more, and the opportunity to care for a team that genuinely cares for each other. Being part of Kraus-Anderson is something I take seriously and work hard to protect, whether that means investing in our people, strengthening client relationships, or finding meaningful ways to give back to the communities we serve. I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built together and the lasting partnerships we continue to grow.
Activities I enjoy most outside of my work: I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three active daughters who keep us busy. I love dancing with my girls whenever I get the chance, especially as veterans of countless dance classes. I’m also genuinely terrible at golf, which somehow has not stopped me from continuing to play. When I need a confidence boost, I turn to clay shooting, where I perform slightly better than I do on the golf course.

Favorite aspect of my career with KA Insurance: What I value most about my career at KA Insurance is the entrepreneurial ownership culture that has allowed me to continually grow, learn, and evolve as a leader. That mindset drives strategic growth and agency improvement, while creating an environment where employees have a voice, are recognized as essential assets, and are supported through ongoing investment in their development.
Activities I enjoy most outside of my work: Outside of work, I am a partner and co-owner of Twisted Sistas, a fused glass business that participates in art fairs throughout Minnesota. I also enjoy spending time in northern Minnesota with my family and my favorite pups, hiking, boating, and four-wheeling.
