OSHA Proposes a New Rule to Ensure that PPE Fits Everyone

You certainly are aware that as a business owner, you need to provide and maintain personal protective equipment that is adequate for the risks and exposures.  Did you also know that until now, there has been no requirement that you provide PPE that actually fits all employees?  Women, along with some men, have struggled for years with ill fitting equipment including gloves, safety glasses, vests, and harnesses.   Countless unnecessary injuries occur each year due to increased risk due to these challenges.  The new proposed rule will explicitly state the requirement that PPE must fit property for all employees.
